The Luminous Bloom Jellyfish is a 300-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle for adults from Woodbests' Masterpiece Reserve Edition, part of the Azure Dreams Collection Vol. 1. Finished size: 51.2 × 50.3 cm (20.2 × 19.8 in). Recommended for ages 14+.
Its bell opens like a lotus, petal by petal, in shades of violet, indigo and pearl. Ribbons of tentacle trail through a night reef of nautilus shells, coral and drifting bubbles.
What makes the Luminous Bloom Jellyfish different
- Backside sections: The reverse is printed with section guides, so the darkest indigo areas can be built zone by zone. Follow them and the puzzle comes together in around two hours.
- Oversized pieces: Pieces are up to three times larger than standard, giving the pearl strands and petal edges room to be seen — and fingers room to grip.
- More than 40 whimsy pieces: Tiny jellyfish, seahorses and shells are cut into the puzzle as shaped pieces; about one in eight pieces is a whimsy piece.
- Achievement Tracker Plate: Record the date, your name, the time and a difficulty rating on the wooden plate that comes with the puzzle.
- Wooden reference board and flip-top box: A wooden reference board holds the artwork upright while you work; the flip-top box keeps everything together afterwards.
- Deep, layered color: Violet, indigo and pearl tones are reproduced with enough depth to survive evening lamplight.
The story behind the artwork
The first drawing was a single bell, sketched as a flower with layered petals. The tentacles came next, drawn as long calligraphic ribbons, and the reef grew around them. Hand-drawn linework gives the image its Art Nouveau rhythm; AI-assisted color adds the inner glow that makes the jellyfish look lit from behind.

Display it, gift it, keep it
Violet reads as a cool, quiet focal point in a bedroom, studio or reading corner. Because the outline is shaped rather than rectangular, it looks best mounted on a backing board or floated inside a shadow-box frame; a slim brass or pale wood frame keeps the attention on the artwork. For anyone who collects ocean-inspired pieces, it sits naturally beside the Sunlit Abyss reef scene.
Frequently asked questions
How many pieces are in the Luminous Bloom Jellyfish puzzle?
300 wooden pieces, with a finished size of 51.2 × 50.3 cm (20.2 × 19.8 in).
How long does it take to complete?
Plan an evening or two. The backside section guides can shorten assembly to around two hours and help with the darkest areas of water.
What are the backside sections?
The reverse of the puzzle is printed with section guides, not a second copy of the artwork. They let you sort pieces by zone and speed up assembly.
Can I frame the finished jellyfish?
Yes. The shaped outline is made for display; use a backing board or shadow-box frame. A frame and glue are not included.
Is the puzzle suitable for children?
It is recommended for ages 14+. The large pieces are easier to handle, but the puzzle still contains small parts.
