Twilight Lotus is a 3D wooden wall light you build yourself: 188 laser-cut pieces that assemble into a lotus pond at dusk, framed by a wisteria arch and crossed by a red wooden bridge — with three cats, a rowboat and a sky full of sunset. A single warm-white LED lights the scene, a touch switch turns it on, and the frame hangs on the wall or stands on a desk. Build time: 2–4 hours. Power: 2 × AA batteries (not included).
What you're building
A round arch of wisteria hangs over the pond, its blossoms stacked in violet and lilac layers. Below it, a red footbridge steps across the water, cats settle on the railings, and lotus flowers open between the lily pads around a moored rowboat. The setting sun sits low behind the hills, reflected on the surface. Engraved along the base: “Twilight falls, waterlilies bloom and all the world's rush fades to gentle peace.”
The quiet one
This is the mid-weight build of the six — 188 pieces, 3 / 5 difficulty, 2–4 hours. The wisteria is built from many small repeating petals, so it rewards patience rather than force: lay the petals out first, then work inward to the bridge and the water. The repeating blossom is the part that slows you down, in a good way.
Light with a lower setting
The LED sits behind the pond, so the sunset and the water glow while the bridge and the cats stay in silhouette. It's a soft, low light — the kind you leave on while reading, or after everyone else has gone to bed. Batteries mean no cord runs down the wall.

How to build it
- Sort the blossom layers by size before you start — the manual shows them as a stack.
- Build the pond and the backdrop first, then the bridge, the cats and the boat.
- Fit the battery box and switch into the base and add 2 × AA batteries.
- Hang it or stand it on the pads; tap once for the dusk glow.
